Emergency Services workboats and inflatable RIBs
In support of the various emergency services and rescue organisations in Australia, including harbour and coastal rescue, Britton Maritime design and manufacture a range of aluminium workboats and inflatable RIBs ranging from 3 to 8.5 metres in length. These boats are designed and built to class 2D and 2C in the National Standard for Commercial Vessels (NSCV). All of our emergency and rescue boats and RIBs range is currently in survey with several government and commercial organisations including State Emergency Services, Fire Rescue NSW, RSPCA, Police, Marine Rescue, Maritime, Border Force, and Defence.
With over 25 years of working with State Emergency Services, and other Government organisations throughout Australia, BMS has developed a sound knowledge for understanding the conditions in which these organisational personnel operate in. With this knowledge we have been able to put together a range of specialised flood and rescue workboats and inflatable RIBs that have been designed for both shallow and deep flooded waters, flat and fast flowing waters, inland and coastal waterways and sea operations.
Our emergency and rescue boat range is based upon functionality to service a specific purpose for each operation that organisational personnel might face rather than just a generic off the shelf product. This includes designs to accommodate conditions such as turbulent water rescues to very shallow flat residential flood rescues and resupply operations.
