Britton Maritime are the value-added reseller for BAE systems boats for the Australian and New Zealand region. BAE systems have been manufacturing fiberglass boats since 1952, the proven hull designs are currently in use with UK Royal Navy and several international navies.
The BAE range of performance rigid inflatable boats (RIBs) is designed for maritime counter terrorism, policing, anti-piracy and search and rescue operations. The outboard Arctic and inboard Pacific Class crafts, proven over thousands of operational sea hours, all feature a deep V hull bottom for the best seakeeping capability, allowing the users to carry out some of the most challenging operations in the toughest conditions.
The performance RIBs have been specially designed for high speed and long-range operations. It incorporates a smart deck track system for easy user layout changes to the deck depending on the mission. Featuring a composite structure, these boats are built to ensure they remain operational with users around the world. Each class can be deployed by air, land, and sea, and can be parachuted from an aircraft.
With inboard (Pacific) and outboard (Arctic) propulsion and secure communications, they are ideal for long range operations, search and rescue, or patrol. Variants are based on Pacific 22, 24 and 950 and Arctic 24 and 28 hulls.
