Rescue Vessels
In support of the various rescue organisations in Australia, Britton Maritime provide a range of aluminium and fibreglass boats ranging from 3 to 6 metres in length. We also have a range of fast response vessels for harbour and coastal rescue including the Gemini 850 Cabin rhib and the Ellis 9 metre jet powered rhib which are currently in use with NSW Marine Rescue. Our rescue vessels are designed and built to class 2D and 2C in the National Standard for Commercial Vessels (NSCV). All of our rescue vessel range is currently in survey with several government and commercial organisations including Emergency Services, Police, Maritime, Border Force, and Defence.
With over 25 years of working with State Emergency Services, and other Government organisations throughout Australia, BMS has developed a sound knowledge for understanding the conditions in which these organisational personnel operate in. With this knowledge we have been able to put together a range of specialised flood and rescue vessels that have been designed for both shallow and deep flooded waters, flat and fast flowing waters, inland and coastal waterways and sea operation.
Our rescue vessel range is based upon functionality to service a specific purpose for each operation that organisational personnel might face rather than just a generic off the shelf product. This includes designs to accommodate conditions such as turbulent water rescues to very shallow flat residential flood rescues and resupply operations.
